Sports Bar Review - All Star Sports N Wings - Kettering Ohio

There is a new sports bar in town and from the outside, the ambiance draws one in as a place of good food, drinks, and entertainment. However, this is where my positive comments come to a halt. We have eaten there twice now figuring that after our first not-so-great dinning experience, we would give them another shot. It would be only fair to give All Star Sports N Wings another chance to win us over. Now granted the first time we ate there, they had just opened, so we accounted the lack of service due to being new and needing to iron out all of the kinks. However, they have been open for about six months now and I can honestly say that nothing has changed. We were greeted in an efficient friendly manner by our server and our drinks were delivered quickly, but everything went downhill from there. We were one of six tables in the entire dinning area and it took over 40 minutes to get our food. During our wait, we NEVER saw our server once come out of the kitchen. What is even more irritating was we were her only table during our entire meal. She did come out and ask us if we wanted another beer, but only after we approached another server about our drinks. When our food was finally brought out, some of our order was missing. She quickly went back to fix the situation. My husband's medium well hamburger was burnt on the outside and completely raw in the center while my son's grilled cheese was burnt on the inside of the sandwich. The rest of the food was decent and hot, which is more than what I was expecting 40 minutes after ordering. Maybe we are just unlucky with the servers, who could use a crash course on serving and customer service, but needless to say, we won't be going back. My husband and I were less than impressed and even my kids asked that we not return. I am sure if you were to sit in the bar area, your service would have been satisfactory because those servers were constantly attending to their customers, but when you reach the dinning area, expect to be nice and hungry before getting your food.

Thanks for your input as well. It could have been that we were just unlucky both times we went with the server. The server makes or breaks the experience. And for us, both times we struck out. We did notice that other tables were taken care of in a prompt fashion. IF I ever go back, I will sit at the bar.
